Arrival
You will be contacted prior to your visit to arrange a suitable time (from 4.00pm for weekend groups) for you to arrive. If your arrival is later than 4.30pm Health and Safety and security information will be left at the house for you. Your group will be responsible for the building until the time of departure arranged with the manager.
Facilities
Bedroom layout:
32 beds arranged in 1×1 (en-suite), 1×1 (fully accessible en-suite), 1×1 (double), 7×4 (bunks) each with private bathrooms. All bed linen is provided.
Dining room/lounge:
There is 1 large multi activity room/TV lounge and dining room seating 32.
Kitchen:
The self-catering kitchen contains 2 domestic cookers, 2 microwaves, 2 larder fridges, 1 dishwasher and a range of kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery for 32. Tea towels are provided.
Washing facilities:
There are 9 showers and 11 toilets (2 fully accessible). Please bring your own towels.
Garden:
There is a large garden at the back of the building with picnic benches.
Heating:
Centrally heated throughout.
Directions
Exit the M4 at Junction 42. Take the A483 to the centre of Swansea and then follow the A4067 to Gower and Mumbles. Approximately 2 miles outside Swansea, turn right onto the B4436 signposted Bishopston. After 4 miles turn right after Kittle and turn left on the A418 at the next junction. Continue on the A4118 until you reach Port Eynon. Turn left signposted Borfa House, the house is the last house on the right.
Car parking:
Parking onsite for up to 3 minibuses or 5 cars. Extra car parking available nearby.

Meal times for full board guests and schools:
Breakfast – 8.15am
Lunch – 12.15pm
Dinner – 5.15pm
In the interests of hygiene, dogs cannot be allowed in the building, although it is possible for special arrangements to be made for registered assistance dogs.
Smoking and the use of candles, nightlights or fireworks (indoor or outdoor) are not permitted in the property.
Tŷ Borfa has a 3* grading from Visit Wales.
